Check out the new video where I demo the Mini Arcade Maxi V2.
Check out the new full cabinet vinyl artwork. The new artwork covers the side panels, control panel and marquee. 4 to choose from and more to come. They are available now for the Mini Arcade Maxi and they look awesome. I’ll add some photos of a couple of machines that are sporting the new graphics soon. Check them out below:
Just a quick post to say that I’m switching to the Raspberry Pi 3 for all arcades and flat kits. The RPi 2 seems to be out of stock everywhere so I’m guessing they will stop making it. It’s slightly more expensive but I won’t be raising the prices of any of my products. It also boots up a little faster than the 2. I didn’t notice any different with game performance however.
David sent me this pic of his assembled Mini Arcade Flat Kit. I think it looks great with a dark stain.
Keith has designed this sweet looking retro graphic which he has placed under a clear acrylic panel on top of his control panel after building his Mini Arcade Flat Kit. Might see if he’ll be nice enough to give it to me so I can make it available on the site. Nice one Keith!
Check out the video below to see how far I can get in Pac-Land on 1 credit. Pac-Land is one of my favourite games of all time. The music is so catchy and that damned 3rd pool is so hard!
I just received some very special feedback from a customer. I’m so glad that I can share my passion for retro gaming with others and help create fond memories.
The product I purchased from you enabled me and my son to work together for many enjoyable hours and we’ve ended up with an amazing arcade machine to boot. I suspect both of us will always have extremely fond memories of building your device.
Not only has your service been outstanding but the care you took in describing the build processes in the 3 you tube videos was phenomenal.
I’m also going to rave about your product and your service to all my friends with teenage sons.
Thank you. I didn’t just purchase a product, I gained a priceless memory.
I’ve added a supplementary video which explains a few things that I missed in the other videos. Check it out below:
Hi retro gamers, RetroPie 3.0 has been released and I have configured it to work with the SuperGameCo Mini Arcade. It has had more systems added to the list and a bunch of other updates and bug fixes.
I’ve tested a few systems including MAME and it has worked fine so far. A lot more work is needed for it to work completely with the Mini Arcade but I thought I’d put it up so people could check it out. One issue I have come across is it doesn’t seem to exit games on any system other than MAME. Let me know if you manage to figure out why.
