The Raspberry Pi 3 build of RetroPie 3.7 is now live and is compatible with the RPi 2 an 3. So far this only works with the single player machines. 2 player version coming soon.

Coming soon… Raspberry Pi 3
I’ve just started testing the Raspberry Pi 3 with my Mini Arcades. So far I have installed RetroPie 3.6, which is the only version that works on the 3, and have the controls working. Shouldn’t be long before I can start offering it as an option. It will be around $10 more to upgrade to an RPi 3 though as they cost a little extra.

Keith has designed this sweet looking retro graphic which he has placed under a clear acrylic panel on top of his control panel after building his Mini Arcade Flat Kit. Might see if he’ll be nice enough to give it to me so I can make it available on the site. Nice one Keith!
Custom 2 Player Build
Check out this custom 2 player arcade machine that I designed and built for a client. It’s the first two player machine I have attempted, it turned out to be quite tricky getting all the controls working. I had to do a little programming to get them to work with all the emulators. Not sure if I’ll make this available in the store, I guess it depends on how interested people are in it. Let me know if this is something you’d like to own/build.
Bob Plays – Pac-Land (1984)
Check out the video below to see how far I can get in Pac-Land on 1 credit. Pac-Land is one of my favourite games of all time. The music is so catchy and that damned 3rd pool is so hard!
Antique arcade controller
I found this antique arcade controller in the basement and was thinking of taking it onto Antiques Roadshow. I’m obviously joking. I’ve just been playing around with staining and clear coating the bamboo. I think it looks pretty schmick.
